Bearing 3,360 Tons! The World's Tallest Bridge Completes "Critical Examination" Before Opening to Traffic

On　August　25th，　after　5　days　of　intense　and　orderly　testing，　all　load　tests　of　Huajiang　Gorge　Bridge，　the　world＇s　tallest　bridge，　were　successfully　completed，　taking　a　key　step　towards　the　goal　of　opening　to　traffic．

For　this　load　test，　a　reasonable　load　arrangement　plan　was　designed　according　to　the　bridge＇s　automobile　design　load　level．　Through　the　＂double　assessment＂　of　dynamic　and　static　loads，　the　actual　working　performance　of　the　four　major　systems　of　the　bridge，　namely　the　main　cable　and　hangers，　main　beam，　main　tower　and　anchorage，　was　systematically　evaluated．
